Guest guest
I give this workout an A+ ! My stinky armpits are proof that this workout gets your heart rate up and that you work up a good sweat! This is a fantastic cardio ball workout. It is a lot like Step, but with a ball! Donna, I can't wait to see what you think of it!Instead of the basic step you have a "basic bounce". There are step touches, mambos, corkscrews, jumping jacks, and shuffles, all with the ball! My favorite part is where, after you do 4 standing plie squats with the ball in your hand, you do some shuffles to the side while bouncing the ball, then corkscrew, and roll on the ball to the front with a pike, then push yourself back, then leapfrog over the ball and sit down. It is a LOT of fun, and gets you from A to Z slowly by building on one combination and making it longer. He has a background exerciser named Miko who you follow while demonstrates the next move. He mirrors he cueing and is very polished, rather like the Master Trainers that teach our new gym class formats at Xpedition (Instructor Training). I'm sure he's presented at IDEA, for example. I will definitely look into buying other workouts of his, though I fear his step tapes are going to be too hard for me choreography wise - I could tell by the flashes of his step class in the trailer. I had no idea this workout would be cardio (I suppose it would help if I read the back of the box but I assumed it would be a strength workout like my other ball workouts are), usually I save that for the evening, but it worked out just fine this morning! I got this on DDD and also bought ABC2, and I can hardly wait to try it! Maybe even tonite! After that I will desperately need that Athlete's Intense Stretch one, as I teach this weekend and need to stretch out all the kinks. Hope everyone has a great Friday!
