Guest guest
My daughter works from 6pm-10pm Mon, Tues and 10pm-6am and 7am-2pm(two different jobs) Wed thru Sun. She attends the gym 4-5pm mon, tues and from 8pm-9pm Wed thru Thurs. She averages 3-5 hours of sleep. She took off two semesters from college to save money, and plans to follow this schedule for 8 months. I'm divorced, without financial assistance, and can't afford to help pay my daughters bills and extra expenses. If she just worked the one job she has had for a few years, she could afford her bills, but it would take longer to pay them off. Maybe two years. I pay the rent, utilities, food, ect. She only has to work to pay her bills: cell phone, car payment($8000 left to pay off), clothing, department store cards, ect. Of course I've nagged about the dangers of not getting enough sleep, was against her buying a new FIRST time car, and other things. But she just says if she works, she can pay her bills, and if I can't help her, to stop making it worse by nagging. She is very responsible, and pays all her bills on time. She recently had a physical/blood work(which I begged her to take), and the doctor said she just needs sleep and a multivitamin. I'm worried that she will have a car accident, hurt herself at work(works around hot foods/assembly machine), or get physically sick. She either has a headache, irritated stomach, or looks tired. After paying bills, she puts the rest in savings(she showed me her recent bank statement). Can anyone recommend a website that lists the symptoms of sleep deprivation? I've came across a few, but they just mention the basics such as irritability, moodiness, ect. There has to be more. I don't know how to convince her to let the second job go. Or am I overacting? Should I just stay out of her business? She plans to move out next year, so I won't know what she's doing then. I know people who work at both of her jobs, and they all say she looks tired. I'm worried about her. Cath
