Also, if you were to use wheat germ, it would be much safer in terms of oxidization to use wheat germ itself rather than the oil. If you want to avoid solvent-extracted oils, you could just go to a health food store. That way you don't have to worry about figuring out which ones are cold-pressed and which ones are solvent extracted, since in general they don't sell any solvent-extracted oils. Dennis But BTW, if it's true that no one's offering a cold-pressed wheat germ oil, that's the perfect argument for not consuming it. If an oil requires modern technology to extract, that's about as " non-traditional " as you can get.
