Guest guest
Hi all, Does anyone have any idea why small amounts of supplemental HCL (betaine hydrochloride) would come out hot at the other end? I don't have any severe inflammatory condition, but IBS and very sensitive digestion. If HCL is supposed to be buffered in the small intestine (thanks Heidi) and that doesn't seem to be happening, what might that imply? For a while I just accepted that I couldn't tolerate it, but maybe the reason why I'm not tolerating it is something to consider. Thanks,
