I weigh every day, same time in the morning, jist me and the machine. <G> I know a lot of people have emotional issues that make weighing every day unwise, but I find it's an interesting way to keep track of just how much my body fluctuates. Sort of a reality check in how pure weight doesn't really tell you much. When I first joined Weight Watchers, I only weighed in on their scales, once a week. I'd freak out *then* if I'd gained. After I started weighing every day at home, I realized that I can (and have a couple of times) gained 3.5 lbs over two days. Looking back over my food choices I could see I hadn't overeaten by anything close to 10,500 calories, so the weight had to be from sodium or just TOM bloat. Sure enough, it was gone again in another two or three days.

If I'd happened to see that jump when only weighing once a week, though, I'd have beaten myself up for the next seven days! LOL The scales are interesting, but for hard data, a tape measure and a tight garment are truer indicators. Oh! Speaking of tight garments-- I saw an expensive pair of pants at a consignment shop a couple of months ago, but they were way too tight around the waist. I tried them on again last week, and they fit like they were made for me (AND I got 'em 60% off. Whoohoo!). They fit almost loosely now even though I've been gaining and losing the same 3 lbs. scale-wise for the past 4 months... so somehow I'm cinching in and tightening up, even if I'm not getting any lighter!
