Elaine,

I HATE the nonrelated posts.

I for one see no problem with it provided the vast majority of the

posts are on topic and while there have been too many OT's to count

over the last month or so, that is generally not the case.

I would agree with that. I signed up for this list to learn about the

WAP diet and way of life, not to hear people's political opinions. If

I signed onto a political list hoping to find people of likemindedness

and read many of the political opinions expressed here, I would

unsubscribe as I find them offensive to my own way of thinking and

believing. However, since this is supposed to be a list on a subject

that I am in agreement with the majority of posters here, I would like

to stay, but not if I have to wade through so many political posts in

order to do so. Additionally, so many OT posts increase the bandwidth

usage of my server for something I am not interested in at all. It's

bad enough that SPAM does this. I find so many OT posts unfair to

those of us who have signed up for the real topic of this list.

Thanks for your consideration,

Fern

Well, I don't tolerate " flame wars " . It really irritates me when people

resort to name-calling instead of fact-finding.
