Guest guest
This is almost too dumb that I didn't think of this before now. Reading all your post about trying to find good sources of NTable food and I didn't think to tell you about where I go with my produce. I'm a vegie farmer that sells most of my produce direct at several farmer's markets. One of the best markets in the country is the Dane County Farmer's Market, AKA, the market on the capitol square at Madison Wi. This is a large market, 8 blocks around, with better than a hundred sellers every Saturday. It also has a great variety with vegies, bakeries, cheeses, meats of all kinds, fish and some other things. Several of the meat producers are grass fed too (beef, free range chickens, venison). Many of the vegies are organic. My own stuff isn't organic, but we do a very minimalist spray program for most crops. If you are anywhere in the midwest, it would be an experience to get to the market some Saturday. We're open from 6:30AM til about 1:00PM every Saturday from the last Sat in April til the first Sat in Nov. Here's a link about the Market http://66.241.244.32/dcfm/home.htm
