Guest guest
Hi Anne, The black Bears up here usually den up for the winter at first snow.Thats when the cubs will be born during their months of sleep. You mentioned the DEC,what is that? We have the DNR up here and I think that must stand for (Do Nothing Right). They want to manage our woods and I think that means cutting most of it down. No way. I feed about twenty loafs of bread a day to the Deer because the ground is all snow covered now . Many other critters also eat whats left. DNR probley dosent like that either but I started feeding it to the birds and the Deer came and ate it.We also have a Wolfdog ,which is going to be fourteen soon .Had her from a pup. Have had Wolves come thru now and then and three years ago one took a deer down, down by the barn that had been hurt months before. Not a pretty site. That deer will suffer no more. I guess I really got off the Being Sick subject theme but mabey they will overlook it. The animals are bright spot for me when im hurten. Thanks all for being out there, just knowing that helps.
