Guest guest
Heidi, You said eating starch before bed can help you to sleep, but you also recommended to Suze trying not to eat within 2 hours before bed. If I eat between 4 and 8 and go to bed at ten, should I have something starchy at 8? Or at 10? Thanks, Chris

I don't do that at all ... I usually have a snack just before bedtime --- usually wine, crackers and lox or anchovies. Or popcorn. That combo makes me really sleepy, then when I'm sleepy, I go to sleep. But I've been skipping the snack lately because having a big meal I'm just not hungry, unless I stay up late. And I'm trying to avoid the late hours -- lack of sleep isn't conducive to leanness either. I think Ori would say ... do what your body needs! You have a really, really delicate chemistry set built into your brain and it *knows*. -- Heidi
