Guest guest
, Others may have different advice - but here is mine. My gallbladder surgery was $12,000 because I had insurance I only paid $1,500.00. When I first experienced the pain it was severe!! but it immediately went away So I didn't think anything about it. Then after than I had bad heartburn for a year..... sitting up at night on the couch sleeping and eating alkaseltzer like candy. Finally I cooked a bunch of fried stuff one day, ate it and that night nothing would stay down finally at 11 pm I went to the emergency room and the next day I was in surgery. So my advice to you is.... since you have not been diagnosed yet and you are pretty sure what this is..... I am going to suggest GET insurance.....My husband and I pay for our own insurance its about $60 a month.... its is Blue Cross Life... the phone number is 800-333-0912 here is the website. www.bluecrossca.com this may just be for California they can probably give you information about coverage in your area. My husband found this company to be the best priced..... You sound like you are in the middle of a process that is going to require surgery. I have not had any side effects of surgery at all and don't miss it. Most women around age 26 are having to have surgery for gall bladder disease.... Ironic I was 26 when I had mine! about 30 days after you have had the insurance to in to be tested..... you will have a diagnosis, you will be covered , you will have surgery and you won't fall under hard times. All I had to do was answer questions on line and I got insurance.... Cover yourself..... no one says you have to keep the insurance after you have surgery... but it sounds inevitable that this is going to happen. Preventive solutions to inevitable circumstances I hope this helps! Speaking about gallbladders... my right side (where my gallbladder is located) is so painful a lot of the time. If I eat more fattening for the day it hurts more... but lately its been a dull ache almost all night long. Many people in my family had troubles with their gallbladder and I'm worried about mine. Now for the bad news, I have no medical insurance... does anyone have any tips or suggestions on how to relieve the pain? Awhile back, about 4 months ago, I think I passed a stone because I would have sharp pains in my right side for a day or two and then soreness for a few more days, then it let up and now its aching again. Anyway I know a lot of women have gallbladder troubles so I'd love to hear from you! **~~W~~** Work hard ~~Play harder --------------------------------- FareChase - Search multiple travel sites in one click.
