The store was out of Organic Pastures one day and I bought some KerryGold to

carry me over - man, that stuff is GOOD! Better tasting by far than Organic

Valley or any of the other organic pasteurized butters I've tried. Yum!

Mike-

Kerry Gold butter. It's Irish and pastured, but pasteurized. Still, if

you can't get raw, I think it's as good as pasteurized butter gets. I'm

not sure how widely available it is -- you can get it in Irish stores and

some upscale markets here in NYC like mentions, but I don't know

where else.

Let me just echo this - when I can't get Organic Pastures (raw, grassfed

butter), I buy Kerry Gold. It's DELICIOUS. It's the most delicious butter I've

ever tasted. I can eat it all by itself.

Does anyoone know if it is available in N. Calif? Also does it have the same

sour taste as Organic Pastures, which I don't like.

I live in Northern CA also, so yes - as far as I know, Organic Pastures is only

available here, am I wrong?

The Kerry Gold butter tastes nothing like the Org Pastures butter.

Wild Oats just started carrying Kerrygold in my area (oregon/washington) and i

haven't noticed it lately at Trader Joe's and have previously. I was surprised

at how much Christie likes Kerrygold as the first time i tried it a while back i

didn't like it at all. however, now that i know it's pastured i've started

buying it and getting used to it! i suppose it's a case of not knowing the way

butter is supposed to taste like.
