Guest guest
In NT Sally mentions that dishwasher powder is " extremely poisonous " , and suggests using only half the amount. Does anyone know of a good NON-toxic dishwasher soap that will get dishes clean? I have tried a couple health-food store brands that did NOT get the dishes clean, they had to be re-washed. I can smell the perfume of the commercial dishwasher soap when I take my dishes out, so I know there must also be residue left on them. (Yuk!) Anyone tried a " homemade powder " ? Maybe Borax could be an ingredient?....it says on the box it will clean cookware and fine china, and it is pretty non-sudsy. I'm considering going back to hand-washing, but only as a last resort. :-) Connie
