that's poor wording. i should've said that fatty streaks are not

*predictive* of atherosclerotic *lesions* (and thus, of heart disease). it's

the *lesions* that are the problem.

except i was thinking that fatty streaks are not associated with " lesions " ,

although i doubt there's any correlation to atherosclerotic " legions "
