upcoming open heart surgery

I am a 33yr old mother of 3 who only found out 4 months ago that I

have aortic stenosis and need to undergo open heart surgery before the

end of the year.My family dont want me to talk about it, I think they

are still in shock about the whole thing,as I found out while I was

pregnant and spent the last 2 months of my pregnancy in hospital, they

are just happy for the moment to have me home, as am I. But I need to

talk about this and get some questions answered. I would like to talk

to some one who has gone through open heart surgery and come out the

other side happy and well.I would like honest answers but also

positive answers because its all new to me and I am scared at the moment.
