I'm pretty satisfied with this week, I think. I'm still working with very little space, that'll last until the next weekend when we take down the tree. I did indulge a bit, but didn't go crazy. Considering that it was not only Christmas but my second round of PMS this month, that's as good as I was going to get. Ah, the joys of early peri-menopause, that time of the month becomes that time of the 2 1/2 to 3 weeks. (Sorry to any men happening to read this!) Anyway, my week in review: Christmas: rest day. Tuesday: Walk Away the Pounds 1 mile walk with Sansome. This is the workout with the weighted balls. I'm loving the weighted balls, BTW. It just feels like I'm working more with the balls than using Heavyhands or regular weights. Wednesday/Saturday: Deluxe Walk with Sansome. First time I've tried this. It's actually a re-package of two older Walkaerobics VHS tapes--2 Mile Walk 2 and Weight Loss Walk 4. I did the Weight Loss Walk segments. On Wednesday I walked the equivalent of 2 1/2 miles, today I walked the equivalent of 4 miles. The set is supposed to look like a living room, complete with early 90s décor. The steps were a little more complicated than the Walkaerobics workouts I've done before-- besides the 4 basic steps, there are shuffles, box steps, tap outs and even a mambo step. But still very easy to pick up! As always, 's positive personality is a big plus, and on this workout, she focuses more on encouragement and less on selling her system. That's one of my pet peeves about at least the workout I did Tuesday; at times she sounds like an infomercial.Thursday: went to the gym and did the circuit training. It felt so good! I had to increase the weight I use on all the equipment, which always feels good!Friday: I skipped exercise because I needed to do a major housecleaning Next week I'm just going to play it by ear. I'm playing with the idea of signing up at my local adult school for a Saturday Tae-bo class, starting the middle of the month. We'll see. Anne

Hi Anne,

I suffer from PMS very badly. 2 weeks before TTOM is total horror for me. I've tried everything to get it under control, but haven't found anything that helps it. I got a book on it thinking I could get some tips on getting some relief from it and it talks about pre menopause and says that as you age the PMS will increase... that was just what I wanted to hear :(

Hi Anne,

I know what you mean about the TOM frequency. I have

experienced it! The good news is sometimes u get a

break for 3-4 months as well.
