We have a lot of wild plants around our yard, and they DON'T get bugs much or they don't care if they get bugs. But they have very tough leaves and don't produce much fruit compared to leaf area. Plants that have been bred to be edible by people -- like lettuce, for instance -- are also very, very edible by insects. They are bred " assuming " a human protector -- like chickens, even a healthy chicken isn't very good at outrunning coyotes. -- Heidi

Guest guest
People from work used to tell me I should go on " Fear Factor " because I eat raw liver etc. Mike's topped me with the raw live worms though, that's for sure. If you need a quick couple bucks you might want to try going on Fear Factor, but I suppose if you *like* eating raw live bugs you wouldn't make the show as sensational. Oh well. Maybe you can get the Extreme NT on the Bravo channel or something. There's always public access channels!
