Vent away Donna! The holidays are stressful for everyone especially those that work and have kids.

My little one woke up this morning complaining of a headache. It would be our luck that she gets sick for Christmas.

Hi Everyone,

I didn't get my workout in this morning - but I hope

to do it later. I had a mega crisis at work yesterday

- I work at home on Thursdays- and I desperately tried

to make sure everything was good before I left on Wed

b/c I did not want to deal with last minute stuff from

home -but, the best laid plans and all that..... So,

that sapped my strength. I had planned on getting the

bulk of DD's presents wrapped last night, but she had

trouble sleeping, so I couldn't get that done (was way

too tired by the time she settled down to bed!) so,

instead of working out this morning I wrapped and

finished up work on the crisis! UGH!

We have guests coming in tonight, so I won't workout

tomorrow, but I plan to Sunday and will take Monday

off.

If I can squeeze something in later I will and I'll

report back on it. I was hoping to do Method Target

Specifics Stability Ball and some of the 10 min

solution dance workout for something that is

hopefully, light and fun!

I also feel like I'm coming down with something.

Scratch throat, headache, general malaise - although

it could be from dealing with all this stress. Part

of me will be happy when the holidays are over as they

have added to my already packed to do list! GRR.

Oh Donna I'm sorry you might be getting sick! Maybe instead of working out you can fit in a 1-2 hour nap? Turn off the phones and sleep a little? A fun workout will help the mood though. Ideally it would be great if you could both nap and work out but if not you might just want to nap.Xmas hugs,

Hi Donna, that must be tough to try and get things wrapped up at work before the holidays. With my job (sign language interpreting) when the classes are done they are really DONE. I'm off work (for the most part) until January 15th. I will teach and tutor a couple of students before then and I have a tutor orientation (paid) to got to on January 4th but right now I get to relax (no kids, just my Mom and two crazy Siamese cats - Mia & Gizmo.)
