This is a great question and I'm glad you asked. There's more to it

than just simple dieting, per se. In order to get that shrink

wrapped look in figure, and even moreso in bodybuilding, you need to

shed the water under the skin to show more muscle definition. This

is achieved by doing one or all of the following:

- Herbal diuretics like Taraxatone by Cytodyne (my favorite) or the

one from MHP is good too. Ingredients such as dandelion root, uva

ursi, watermelon seed, and caffeine are all diuretics that help shed

water so you are nice and crispy dry come contest day.

- Sodium loading and depletion. Very simply put: eat too much sodium

and you bloat up, consume less sodium than you need and you'll

dehydrate

- Carb depletion and loading. Same as salt, water follows solutes.

Carb up then pump up and the muscles swell up stretching the skin

and giving you a nice shrink wrapped look.

It's actually easier for a natural athlete to get that shredded look

than your more known steroid counterparts. Steroids and pro-hormones

have the side effect of water retention, so it's an uphill climb for

them to achieve that look. You can find that soft dough-boy look in

the gym with all the new guy trying to get big overnight. They look

very bloated, especially around the face.

Thanks for asking!
