According to Dangerous Grains, chimpanzees consume a diet of 15%

meat, much of it other chimpanzees.

That's an interesting statistic, and I'd be curious where they get it

from. My understanding was that chimpanzees' meat consumption was

closer to 5% and that it was made up mostly of insects and perhaps

some eggs, and that once a month or so the males will form groups and

hunt down monkeys (not other chimpanzees).
