Guest guest
Hello everyone, I have a couple of questions I thought I'd throw out in case some of you experienced perfumers wanted to chime in. Currently I'm taking Mandy's class and have been putting together some simple solids. My favorite so far is the Green Tea and Orange solid from " Aroma " . I'd like to keep going with Green Tea absolute and was wondering if any of you might have some suggestions of other nice combos besides orange that would be a pretty compliment but allow the Green Tea to stay center stage. Perhaps there's an unusual note that would bring out even more of the Green Tea Essence. I am also curious to start working on a sea-inspired perfume, but the research I've done has led to very little info. I have a good source for Seaweed Absolute, it's soft and not too strong. I'd like to keep that soft seaweed present, but introduce some other notes. From what I've read, nutmeg and geranium are sometimes used. I like the idea of keeping the whole thing very light with a floral and perhaps coniferous element, but don't want to get weighed down with too heavy an earthy tone. Any thoughts, suggestions, advice would be very much appreciated. Thanks every one and Happy New Year! mj
