Louise,

Are you on Primal Defense? PD has been shown effective against candida

without dietary change (that was the impression I got from the report of the

study), so including PD with your diet would be very wise for making it much

more

effective.

I agree about antifungals, however not so sure antifungal drugs are a good

idea at all. As to typical antifungals used in candidal therapy, I had lots of

fungal symptoms that I thought were candida, and went on a very strict

anticandida diet for a month with MSM, 6 tbsp colloidal silver a day, heaping

teaspoons of ground oregano vulgare every day, and an oil of wild oregano

non-alcohol

tincture. It helped a little bit, but not a lot. OTOH, Primal Defense

nearly obliterated all my symptoms in a few weeks, dramatic results begiinning

after about 2 weeks. Butter oil seemed to help too, but I'm now thinking the PD

helped a lot more. You're supposed to use Fungal Defense for two weeks before

PD for candida and fungal problems, but I didn't.

Most tomato sauces have added sugar in them. If you read labels

scrupulously, you can find tomato sauces without added sugar. It seems marinara

is less

likely to have sugar, but I don't know if that always holds.

Does anyone know an internet mail order company where

I can get primal defense? My Inner Garden Flora won't

last much longer.

I am keen to try a digestive enzyme as well, hopfully

from the same internet shop. On advice from this

list, I'd think I need one with HCl.

Thanks

I didn't notice anyone else respond to this, so I'll recommend iherb.com

which Suze recommends. I haven't bought it from them yet, but Suze said she got

hers in about a day after ordering. Of course it would take longer to get to

UK! But they also run cheaper than what most other sell the same products for.

Chris-

Actually, my understanding is that even basic tomato products (like paste

and juice) can have tons of added sugar without the sugar being listed on

the label, because it's apparently legal to add enough to boost the sugar

content to the " normal " level for the particular fruit or vegetable without

actually listing it. I believe Muir Glen doesn't do this, though, and

they're organic and tasty to boot.
