We've had little pellet snow and freezing rain lightly here since 2pm, it's now around 2:30am, they said it will start snowing 1 - 3 inches and hour by day break with winds gusting towards 40mph and to expect 8 - 15 inches of snow with blizzard like conditions... Woke up at 7pm, it was miserable high winds and a freezing mixture,the dogs flew out came in faster, Sam who is on leash wandered around, said he was too cold to prr, so I brought him in without, happily the wateworks operated later. I just cannot make out what is going on, the wind is high, no snow or more, we got about 8" last night.the weathermen do not seem to have the maps straight. NNW seems to be light that way, well I will not go out for sure. For a laugh I tell you the day I started my criminal career--------yesterday! Went to the service station, filled two 2 gallon containers , there was a guy at the next pump,. I got talking, then left, half way home a light went off in my head, gads I had not paid for the gas!!!!!! Then I could not find a safe place to turn around, I finally found my own drive and turned, flew downtown, went in and I apologized profusely and paid my bill, the girl laughed when I said 'am I the only one?' she said 'a lot of people do', I said not intentionally, she said,'yes they do' I said 'how,can they live with themselves, ' then I saw there is a surveillance camera that picks up every car that gets gas.! I'm glad you were released in time for Christmas!!! ) You did an honest mistake and took care of it immediately, your not the only one that has ever made that mistake... We hear people being reported weekly driving off with out paying for their gas coming across the police scanner... The cute thing is when the policeman radio's back chuckling that the culprit is an elderly person that just plain forgot, so he escorts them back to the station so they can pay the bill ) ((( Get Out Of Jail Free Hug ))) Helen Went to the service station, filled two 2 gallon containers , there was a guy at the next pump,. In my case seeing a friend not seen for a long time, then the memory skips out and one leaves not paying, I felt awful, glad that Trp. Tangorra did not get the arrest warrant!! Guest guest Posted December 19, 2007 Report Share Posted December 19, 2007 Sorry, just couldn't resist! ) One time, years back, up here at our Ben lin store I was holding my keys in my hands and some skeins of floss, I put my purchases on the counter paid for them and went to my car, when I went to unlock my door I realized I was still holding the skeins of floss in my hand with the keys and never paid for them, I went straight back in the store and we both had a good laugh over my absentmindedness, she said she seen them in my hand and never even thought to say anything, we both joked about it, but I felt so bad, but she knew I would never just take anything on purpose, here back then, everyone knew everyone, its just a small town... I don't know how anyone can take something and live with themselves... It is never nice for people to not pay deliberately that the is the difference I lose my remote! And just about to go out and buy another it shows up ,Good thing my head is firmly attache to my neck!
