Guest guest
Hi Bee, Would you let me know if that works out for you? I have a friend who may be moving into that area soon, and would love to know if getting raw milk products is a possibility. Thanks, Fern Raw Milk in Canada - I might have found a source > Dear Group, for those who are Canadian, I might have hit pay dirt on > getting raw milk. Guest guest
>>>Dear Group, for those who are Canadian, I might have hit pay dirt on getting raw milk. I was talking with a cattleman yesterday and he suggested I go to the Hutterites or the Amish groups in my area. There is one close to Calgary, Alberta, so I'm going to try to make a trip this Saturday. ---->that is great! i just wanted to mention that some folks tend not to post publicly about raw milk sources in states/provinces where the laws are draconian and the farmers have much to lose if the authorities find out. i have no idea what the laws are where you are, but i know that in one of the canadian provinces at least (ottawa?), there's a $350,000 fine for selling raw milk, and i believe a farmer can serve up to 10 years in jail for it. i may be remembering the jail time incorrectly, though. just wanted to mention it :-) Suze Fisher Lapdog Design, Inc. Guest guest
Dear Suze, You have a very good point. So is it best to exchange info via private email?
