*hugs* thanks for the correction on the fessing up part, ! And DO keep us posted about the interview on the 17th! You can use all of us here as personal references if you like (email me offlist if you want my cell number, I'm happy to sing your praises!). My friend lost over 100 lbs with the point system and I have another friend who maintains her weight with the core program. You inspire so many of us here already, and think how much more you will do in person!Cheers!nancydewolf <nancydewolf@...> wrote: Awwwwwwwwwwwwww!!! I actually have tears in my eyes!!! Thank you so much for trusting me so much!!! The smiley is so wonderful too!!! I was hoping we weren't getting too off topic so this is especially nice for that reason too. :-) I appreciate the title though as I've tried answering questions I realize I still need to learn a lot myself and am looking forward to the training and working with the

company. I've wanted to be a WW leader for a long time but never had the confidence in my self as a Weight Watcher before, I do now and this REALLY means a lot to me to read too!! I've got my informational meeting/interview on the 17th, then hopefully I'll be accepted and start soon after. I'll keep you posted. Your description of why it works for many people is excellent and yes, most people are very willing to share because they are excited and want others to know that feeling of success and also being sincerely supported too. One thing I will "correct" though is that no one will EVER ask you to fess up to your eating mistakes! If you choose to share what happened at the scale, good or bad, you can, if not, you definitely don't have to. You can just listen and wait for a light bulb to go on in your own brain. You can also talk with the leader privately

and he or she can definitely be like a personal trainer for you. At the end of each meeting, my leader hands out stickers that say "bravo" on them for weight loss or habit change. I LOVE that last part! It is fun being recognized just for trying hard to make improvements, even if the improvements haven't yielded much fruit yet and you get applauded for that too! Note: not all leaders do that but from the various leaders I've seen in action over the last year most try to recognize non-scale victories (NSV) too. Anyway, thank you again , your support and trust (and the smiley) are just overwhelming!!!! , List Weight Watchers Expert (at least according to ) Re: Re: Weight Watchers - Reply While I have never joined WW, everyone I know who has done it has been more

successful in weight loss than those who do the fad of the day. As someone else mentioned today, most are happy to share the point system with you without joining and all that, so it's not necessarily the information, in my opinion, that makes WW so successful. What makes it successful, from my observation, is the fact that you are held accountable for all your actions, just like a personal trainer would make their client do - you weigh in each week and fess up to your eating mistakes to a bunch of people and that can't be easy. But when you're done you get support from professionals, like our , and keep on going! When you do lose people applaud you! When you reach your goal weight you can

participate for free, which is neat! WW teaches you lifestyle changes, not starvation or extremes. I'm so happy you're in this group and I officially name you our Weight Watchers expert!, List Owner
