hi laura!! good on ya!!!

i might cut her up from time to time, what with her chattiness and

repetitive movements, but i cant think of any other instructor who

is as supportive and down-to-earth as leslie! she has done so much

for so many people and she deserves alot of credit for that.

i have the belt and im sure that your 5 lb weights were much more

effective. i barely feel any resistance with the tubing that is

attached to the belt. im going to tie or cut them so they are shorter.

Walk Away the Pounds - 3 Mile Walk with Abs

I am STILL sore from the stairs on Monday, but when I woke up I knew I had to do *something* so I thought of you, , and decided to warm up and power walk 3 miles with !

You are so sweet !! This cracked me up though!I really admire . She is a wonderful instructor, and manages to talk the whole 51 minutes without being too repetitive, and while she might seem a little dippy, she is motivating (to me) and so positive that it's infectious! I wish I had knew about her when I was obese at a zero fitness level. She's so inspiring!

Me too!! I have a great friend who is over 100 pounds overweight (and has actually already lost over 50 of it) and I'm going to try and introduce her to . She works out on an exercise bike or some kind of machine but I bet she'd like 's workouts for some variety. She will think is incredibly dippy but I know she'll smile and feel encouraged too.She uses a "walkaway belt" which is a belt with power cords on it. I don't have one, but used 5 lb weights instead and that worked fine. It was nice to get a partial upper body workout in while walking!

Glad to hear this. I want to get more of her workouts but wasn't sure I wanted to get the walkaway belt, it doesn't look that great for some reason.Believe it or not, with all this soreness, the hamstring curls were actually kind of challenging!

:-)I feel warmed up now, time to do a quick dance workout!

I don't think I've quite heard too many people say, after a brisk 3 mile walk, I think I'll do another workout now! Go for it !!

I'm glad you wrote this Carolyn!

Oh, so that's what the lady I saw the other day was using. Hope you worked out the soreness in your hamstrings.
