my son is eight years old and has cystic fibrosis, i would be more than willing to answer your questions. evelynmandamay0501 <mandamay0501@...> wrote: Hi everyone. My name is Mandy. Happy to be in the group. I am a student at the University of Texas - Pan American in Edinburg. I am currently enrolled in a Medical Aspects oourse where we have just been given what I think is a great assignment. We are being asked to conduct a short series of Internet interviews (MUST be through email

correspondence) with a person who has a disability or illness. Questions will regard medical aspects, functional limitations and social implications of the condition. Since the interviews must be conducted via email (mandatory by professor; we have to print out the email responses, but all other info will be anonymous - name & email address), I thought this might be the best venue. We will be corresponding approx. 6-8 times (only 12 questions, about 2 questions to answer per email). I promise the questions will be as brief as possible and only require you answer what you feel comfortable with. Your participation and insight will help not only myself but many other students who plan to work with people who have disabilites and illness in the future. For those who are interested in participating, please feel free to email me asap. I appreciate everyone's time and consideration, and I look forward to meeting and

getting to know you & hopefully making some new friends in this group. Have a great day! cure cystic fibrosis

HI Mandy, I also will be happy to help. I've had M.S. since at least1980 -- along with MCS (multiple chemical sensitivies) -- and the two probably related to depression and anxiety -- doing mostly holistic type treatments.... Jean
