Guest guest
Hi Mandy I can totally relate to this. I love the number with "dont let the sun go down on me" - its just fantastic. I believe music is totally therapeutic and can keep us from going insane. I always did alot of singing for my 2 almost nonverbal small asd kids. Today. My daughter is nine and is right now as I right to you singing kareoke on the playstation 2. She is singing Wham "Wake me up" and everytime I hear her sing it she is better and gets better notes. The program is called singstar and for anybody interested it is a very good kareokeprogram, where the text is comming out very clear so that my daughter is learning english right now without knowing it. She gets notes after every song and keeps a record and tells me proudly everytime she is getting better. Also when my son lost his language almost totally at about 3,5 years old - I was able to make him sing words back, that he was no longer able to speak. I had to ask the questions by singing an easy song and he answered singing the same song back. Today both children have full language - thank god and both can sing - Ulla Denmark OT: Music, Parties, Singing, TA Conference Who here likes /Elton - Don't let the sun go down on me ? Just played it on full volume I love to sing (well my version of singing, like Rhona I am tone deaf) to this and was just sitting here imagining us all at end of conference party night singing this in unison, got quite emotional - thinks I've finally flipped LOL Gloria Gaynor - I will survive My all time fav - Whitney Houston - One Moment in Time Guess I should get back to work Mad Mandi in Dorset

Guest guest
oh thats nice, my kids download quite a few but its the best music that era. Stephanos is better 40 % approx. screaming has stopped have lots of stimming , the outbursts are still there where he hits himself. We are still on flucanazol , calmag, nuthera, and have started spirolactone CLO . Got a long way to go yet but at least its a relief to the small improvement with him. I want to seriously think about full medical, blood urine tests again in November time got any advice which lab in the UK or clinic? Thanks again love Chriso Re: OT: Music, Parties, Singing, TA Conference In a message dated 02/09/2006 22:45:43 GMT Daylight Time, tryfonascytanet.cy writes: my type of music as well, where do u hear it from? >>I have the CD's How is your lad doing now?
