Guest guest
It was uncustomarily warmish for winter today! It wasn't raining, and the sun was out! I hopped on my mountain bike and decided to go for a bike ride outside. I didn't even need my biking gloves!I just love this ride, because you wind through my hip urban neighborhood, then through some ritzy neighborhoods; last summer they filmed a movie there! Anyway, the ride through these neighborhoods is even harder than when you get to Mt. Tabor itself (a small, extinct volcano). The ritzy neighborhood area is on a steep incine, and I have to drop down to the lowest gears on my bike (I have a 21 speed) to make it! Once you get to Mt. Tabor Park it's still tough, but there are switchbacks which make the climb more gradual. There were lots of other cyclists there and people walking their dogs. I exited via the reservoir, and stopped by Fred Meyers (Krogers) to pick up some groceries and head home. I'm sipping on some pinot noir and watching my old Dark Shadows videos and life is very good!Hope everyone enjoyed great workouts today!
