I've been amazed at how many calories are in something I've ate that I thought had very few.<<< I am actualy scared to see how much crap I put in my mouth in the course of a day. The book I am considering at AMAZON works for both exercise and food intake. I don't think it is a real in-depth food journal. There is a place to record what you ate, supplements you took and I think water consumed. Doesn't break things down into carbs, protien....Which is fine with me cause that would be too much for me anyway.
