A new year has arrived and hurting much of the time I use to take

life a day at a time. A good friend who has had some major health

proplems says he and his wife take life twenty minutes at a time . I

think this new year I may try that.

Ah Larry, I am so very sorry that there is so much hurting.

And I am so very glad that you are finding ways to keep going as you do, for your insights are most helpful to us!!!

So many of you all have constant pain. I can't imagine how hard it must be. I remember when I've had what must be a minor headache how it seems to consume me, and to multiply that and have it constant! wow. I have great respect for all of you who though having constant pain somehow manage to live life full ANYWAY!!

The only hard thing I used to have to deal with was major depression. My Dad helped me with that, saying to be like the sundial and count only the sunny hours. Oh how I hunted for those occasional minutes to 'count' back then!! Meanwhile I am so very lucky that my depression is now more just a lethargy, and the awful times I was so very very sure I could never forget I can't remember, though I've tried. curious.

ANYway!! We have started a New Year! I am ever so much hoping that all of us will gain new courage and insight and strength, and yes find time to do some belly laughing!! and smiling..

Very best to all, Jean
