Guest guest
This morning I did the basic 50 minute routine from YCFE called "Practice for the Spine". It indeed was somewhat easy, but I really needed the stretches therein so it was time well spent. I was craving something more challenging after that so I did Ivanhoe's Yoga Makeover: Power Beauty Sweat. This 20 minute practice takes place on Hawaii, which in and of itself was good for my soul as it is FREEZING here and I don't turn the heat on unless I'm sick or I have guests over. What a perfect add on this wes! After some seated spinal twists, leads you gracefully into side angle planks, then bound side angle plank, then unbinding and doing fluid motions with the arms. Next I think were some standing spinal twists, then prayer twists, bound eagle, and fan. There were some lunges and related stretches out of that pose, then ending in a seated position with a mudra to seal in the benefits of the practice. I feel more aligned and supple this morning as a result. I'm thinking I might do a the yoga workout with weights that I got in a trade once to amp this up while still doing yoga.Hope everyone has a great day todday! This is my Friday, as I'm taking off another week from work. Woo-hoo! Tomorrow I'll be taking a gym class with an old flame/friend. That will be fun! I'll get to show off my stuff Hugs to all,
