Guest guest
hiya! this morning i was searching for some really light cardio to do as part of my recovery. i ended up doing two old virgins (heehee!) on vhs... 'low impact aerobics' with leslie chazen and 'buns of steel 6' which is a step workout with lynne brick. both are around 30 mins long. i felt like i was back in the old jane fonda days with these workouts... leslie's workout had to be yanked out of the vcr after about 20 mins. lynne's was easier to take, and perhaps a bit newer, but still there are so many better videos out these days. also i find some of things they do to be questionable (out-dated), especially those bouncy stretches...ugh! ah well, sickness recovery time is great for getting out those moldy oldies and seeing if they are worth keeping or not. i put both of these into a bag that i have for the goodwill... that is probably where i got them in the first place! LOL unfortunately, i did not get my lower body strength workout done today, nor did i get my quick yoga session done i would really like to do at least the 10 min PM yoga segment from 'yoga now' tonight. tomorrow is more light cardio, an ab workout and yoga. :*carolyn. Guest guest
Your workouts sound fun, Carolyn! I enjoy doing outdated workouts because I wasn't into fitness then so I can see what I was missing out on at the time! I'm glad I didn't ever have to buy a thong leotard! Kudos on working out two days in a row! It sounds like you're on the mend?

I've seen them in a few workouts and find them really distracting because I keep wondering why you'd want to wear that, especially leotard one color, tights another... weird and ugly.
