Guest guest
Hi Kerry, I wasn't the presenter at the workshop. This workshop was for people who teach Deaf children and the topics were, American Sign Langauge (ASL) Semantics and ASL Storytelling. I work as an interpreter for Deaf college students and I also tutor students (hearing people) learning ASL. I like to go to these workshops because they are sponsored by the ASL Teachers' Association and the presenters are always Deaf so I get to not only learn more about ASL but I get to improve my receptive skills (reading ASL.) ---- this was probably more than you wanted to know LOL I just relaxed last night. Tonight I will be playing volleyball. I have to work on my Christmas cards so that will probably be all I will do for today. How are you doing? Did you exercise today? Jen Kerry Kramer <kerrykramer@...> wrote: You've had a great week Jen! You were able to get in volleyball even though you were busy. Your Christmas tree sounds very lovely. Think of the calories you burned trying to stay warm. Are you the presenter at the workshop? I know they can take a lot out of you even if you aren't the presenter so I don't blame you for wanting to collapse on the sofa, and we all need a day we can sleep in, ahh, that feels so good. Maybe you can get in a gentle walk after your Christmas banquet. See how you feel. I had exercised 3 times this week, but then got my Voight Yoga Power yesterday and just had to try it out, so I guess it's 4 times now. Wow! Is it ever a good workout. My feet were sweaty and I can sure feel my upper back this morning. I only did the Yoga Strength (30 min) section of this workout, there is a Yoga stretch (20 min) as well. does a lot of down dogs that go into planks, yikes was that tough, I loved it though. She has a background exerciser that shows the modifications. is an excellent instructor, her form is perfect. Can't quite what the cueing was like, but is always good about cueing. I will do this workout again! I'll let you know how the stretch section goes. Have a great day, Kerry Jen wrote: Hi Kerry, I was able to play volleyball three nights this week. That's all I've done this week...I'm still busy at work and tonight we went and got our Christmas tree and FROZE doing it! We got a Frasier Fir, it's the best kind of Christmas tree because they keep their needles for a LONG time. Tomorrow I will be at a workshop from 9 to 4pm then we are going out to eat after that (have to feed the presenter LOL) When I get home I will probably collapse on the sofa! So I doubt I will exercise tomorrow at all. Sunday I'm going to sleep in.... then Sunday afternoon I'm going to a Christmas banquet from 12 to 5pm....I will see how tired I am after such a busy weekend...maybe I can convince myself to walk on my treadmill. How many days have you exercised this week? Jen
Guest guest
Hi Jen, No, I didn't exercise these past two days. I had to get Christmas stuff done yesterday and today then go see my Dr. because of that stupid asthma, well I actually had an appointment for my yearly checkup which was lucky. Not sure about exercise tomorrow as I feel like I'm coming down with a cold. Grrrr.... Have a great day, Kerry Hi Kerry, I wasn't the presenter at the workshop.
