I'm glad you're listening to the doctor and taking it easy. I dealt with a very scary episode a couple years ago with one of my breasts. Luckily, everything was ok.

Take care

Hi ,

Wow, that is an amazing story - it seems that younger

and younger women are getting breast cancer. I had my

baseline done last year or the year before, I forget.

I was so nervous about it - especially b/c they had me

come in for a second view! Nothing showed up though,

but I will be sure to keep on schedule with that.

You're doing great.

I understand the surgery, not to go into great detail,

but i had to have breast surgery due to a severe

infection when breastfeeding my daughter - it was

awful and I understand the restrictions you're under!

Take care!

Hi Donna,

Thanks so much for the encouragement! I'm glad to hear you've had your baseline too, thanks for letting me know!

Hi ,

Glad to hear your experience turned out well! I'd had a scare when I was 32 that turned out to be nothing so I didn't take this one seriously until the radiologist called me with the news. Now I take it all seriously, sometimes too seriously but better cautious than the alternative.

I'm definitely taking it easy. Three surgeries in less than a year (mastectomy & two reconstruction surgeries) taught me well the value of following doctor's orders! :-) I was a model patient and had a smooth recovery (even was allowed to start exercising earlier than he'd planned to let me because things were going so well with my last surgery). I've decided against working out at all for sure today. My 5 year old just got home and wanted to play, sort of a play wrestle and between the exertion and her almost pounding into my chest a couple of times (kept trying to deflect her to the other side but silly thing seemed to be targeting what I called my "boo boo" even though I know it wasn't intentional), I'm sore so nope, today is definitely a rest day (with no more wrestling either). We'll see what tomorrow brings. Thanks for the support!!

Congratulations . Good luck in finding a gentle workout that doesn't make you sweat. Take it easy if you are in pain.
