Guest guest Posted December 11, 2006 Report Share Posted December 11, 2006 Hi , When I was pregnant I actually did do ab work - I used my stability ball for it so I wasn't laying flat to do it. I think it is a personal preference/comfort level thing - you just do what feels right/comfortable and you'll be fine. I also used my step at an incline to do abs and did standing abs as well. I never felt dizzy laying flat on my back, as some people do, but just went with this modification since I figured why take a chance. I can't remember if I mentioned this book title to you - Expecting Fitness - I believe it has modifications for ab work during pregnancy. Also, I had a Pilates book for pregnancy that also showed mods. I really need to clean out my basement so I can find these things!
