Sounds like a fun time with your workouts. I can just picture your workouts, I have a feeling they are fun and you all have a blast. So how did the cute guys end up doing in the class? that is cool.

Great workout ! Sounds like your classes are quite a bit of fun. Good to hear your feet don't hurt anymore. I'm sure the total hunk will be back, and I hope he's not gay.

Have a great day,

Saturday on a whim I decided to teach Round 26 - a newer Turbo Kick routine. I usually do the older ones because they are harder and I have fond memories associated with them.Well when I got to the gym the mic was out so I had to use my voice which sucked the big one. This room is HUGE, long and rectangular and I had 32 people. I forgot how much sking and jumping there is in this one, and my feet started acting up at the end (I am very prone to plantar fasciitis). Because of the feet problem I decided to quicky relearn Round 7, but I made a minor mistake in burning the cd for class so I decided to risk taking my original, which would up skipping horribly so I wound up doing R26 after all. Class hadn't started yet (there's no one before me on Sundays which is great so I can practice and have the whole GX room to myself) and at 8:00 everything was fine other than the skipping cd. No worries, R26 was still in my head and I can modify the skis and jumps when need be. Then, as 9:00 approached, the heat started firing up! It was at least 85 degrees in there! BAD for high cardio (nice for yoga). I had to prop the doors open with weights to let the cool air in, which did help. Lastly, this total hunk named Victor came in and introduced himself (probably gay) who had full solidly tatooed arms. He and this other guy in class are Turbo Jammers, and recognized quite a bit of the material in R26 from the cardio parties. It as a pleasure having them in class, and he approached me afterwards saying how much he liked class and will be back. Yay! I teach much better under pressure :) and my feet feel okay today, probably because I stretched them out a lot yesterday and this morning. Usually I don't write about my gym workouts because they aren't workout videos, but they are so similar to Turbo Jam I thought what the heck. R26 has the caopoeira section where you do 3 jengas in a row, a hop to the front with a quick roundhouse, esquiva back. This is done to instrumental tribal music, and is in one of the cardio parties as well.My lats are sore from all the jengas- love it when TK makes me sore! My body is pretty used to most of the moves, but everytime something else is introduced it kicks my tail!Hope you are all having a good weekend!Kickin' it,
