Guest guest
I'm 40.1 (I turn 40 on Jan. 12) but that's only because I'm a breast cancer survivor. I'm not sure how much lower it would be without that but it would be lower. At least I'm close to my chronological age now! I also put in what I intend to do (conservatively) for my workouts as I get more regular about them. I've improved since the last time I took this (maybe 6 or 8 months ago?). I think I was 42.5 then. My weight is lower, my activity is much better & I'm taking a multi-vitamin so those lowered my "real age." Interesting way to not do things I should be doing (like shutting off the computer and getting ready for bed)! Real Age and YOU on a Diet www.realage.com is the main website from "YOU On A Diet". You can get the diet and exercises from there if any of want to give it a try. Also, try the real age survey and let me know your "real age," I'm 37.5 NOT 41 Jen
Guest guest
, that is FANTASTIC! And also brings hope to me. My cousin has been going through breast cancer and I *think* she will be a permanent survivor, but the healing process has taken a few years and it has definitely aged her a bit beyond her years. She too has good health and fitness practices which I know has benefited her greatly. Still, I continue to worry because my aunt who had breast cancer and eventually a masectomy healed much more quickly and wasn't nearly as healthy in lifestyle... :/Prayers to all the strong women out there and women who need prayers!nancydewolf <nancydewolf@...> wrote: I'm 40.1 (I turn 40 on Jan. 12) but that's only because I'm a breast cancer survivor. Guest guest
, I think you are doing GREAT! Anyone who does the 3-day right after breast cancer surgery is a hero in my book! They should of had a category for walking 60 miles in a weekend! LOL, Jen nancydewolf <nancydewolf@...> wrote: I'm 40.1 (I turn 40 on Jan. 12) but that's only because I'm a breast cancer survivor. Guest guest
I took the test and it said my real age was 36.1 and I'm 37. That's better than being older than what I am. ~**~
Guest guest
I'm 53, according to that. (Chronological age is 48). Mainly because of the heart attack in July, and that I couldn't remember what my cholesterol is Wow, depressing. Makes me wonder why I'm bothering. Guest guest
Thanks so much !! The diagnosis and whatever treatment you have takes a huge toll on you emotionally and mentally and that affects you physically too. Where you start from emotionally helps as much, if not more so, than where you start physically. I have a strong personal faith and a great support system of family and friends and that, as well as being younger and generally healthy, made it easier for me to regain a feeling of control over my own body. Sometimes the people who make great efforts to eat healthy, exercise and still get cancer feel so completely betrayed by their bodies that it is very hard to move past that. I hope your cousin, aunt and I will all be permanent survivors and that your cousin especially will be able to recover in other important ways too. Guest guest
Hi Jen, Thank you so much!!! I feel great and it is awesome! LOL about the category for 60 mile walk in a weekend! That would have certainly helped lower my score!! :-) Thanks again for your encouragement and support! Real Age and YOU on a Diet www.realage.com is the main website from "YOU On A Diet". Guest guest
Anne, Why not continue to live healthy, and retake the test in six months - that's what I'm going to do. Guest guest
I found that calculator really depressing when I took it the last time too. I would think that your regular exercise would, especially as you move farther away from the time you had your heart attack, bring your score down. In any case, from what you've said it sounds like your doctors think you're doing great and they count more than a quiz any day. I know your posts often make me feel like an exercise wimp!! :-) Real Age and YOU on a Diet www.realage.com is the main website from "YOU On A Diet". Guest guest
I’m almost 32 and it says my real age is 23. Not sure how that can be. I do eat good and take good care of myself, but lately I haven’t felt my age yet alone younger lol -- No virus found in this incoming message. Checked by AVG Free Edition. Guest guest
Any woman who can walk sixty miles in a weekend should not feel like an exercise wimp! Yeah, when I thought about it, I realized that I shouldn't take an internet quiz that seriously. Anne I found that calculator really depressing when I took it the last time too.
