Guest guest
Dear Kathy, You will be happy to know that sunscreen halts vitamin D production in the body. See the article " Some Scream About Sunscreen " by Ephraim at http://www.consciouschoice.com/healthconscious/healthconscious1306.htm l Also learn " Why the Myth of the Sun Causing Skin Cancer can Hurt Your Health at: http://www.mercola.com/2002/jun/19/sun.htm Hey, we all know that myths are perpetrated by to sell products. It's a big profitable business. My motto is: " anything advertised is to sell a product and make money, but is not necessarily good for you. " I do not shower daily, nor do I use much soap, which washes off the protective layer of the skin. Allowing the natural body oils to surface on the skin (natural oils, which are also acid provides protection) provides the proper climate for the body to create vitamin D from sun exposure. However, it is prudent to not stay in the sun too long causing the skin to burn. So you can happily throw out your sunscreens, with confidence. If you wish to put something on the skin consider coconut oil. Fish oils are the best source of Omega 3s. I think the emphasis on their importance when on a healthy WAP diet may be overstated. It is my opinion that most of the omega 3 products/oils use this as an advertising ploy, especially for flaxseed oils and oil blends such as Udo Erasmus'. For a good source of information on flaxseed oil see www.mercola.com. Cheers, Bee P.S. What is the NFN list and what is the url?
