There is another school in Swanage - Dorset WON'T fund that one- its £75K per annum So I'm wondering what that's all about? I know for a fact Norfolk through Sendist are funding many children in independent schools, does anyone know if it's possible for an independent school to have agreements not to offer places with the authority their school is in? >>Dont; know about that, sound slike it might be as above - can you find out how much the places are? Guest guest
Thanks Mandi, it's 50k for day placement. I didn't think they could have a policy not to fund as solicitor would challenge that on the basis that it's the only one able to meet the need. This sounds like the school are saying they are not making places available to Norfolk children and I am wondering why they would do this favour for the LEA. Guest guest
As you know Mandi that's my end up plan anyway, but whilst husband is finishing off this house is not getting an education, we have tribunal in December, apparently for school placement that would mean getting a place in January, which would really mean a lot for . Portfield is excellent I viewed it already, but then to be honest I thought all 3 schools in Dorset were excellent and the LEA were just something else altogether, they restored my faith in mankind, well at least until I got back here were they just excel at slimeball skills. Guest guest
Dear Vicky, This wouldn't be Eagle House School in Banham, by any chance? We had a rather unproductive exploration of a place for Henry there. Pleae e-mail me off list if you'd like to discuss.
