really likes spicy cured meats, unfortunately I cannot find any that he does not react to with a pretty hefty regression. He loves Pepperami but they are a definite no-no. Does anyone know of any spicy cured meats that aren't loaded with preservatives?

Thanks,

Darla

Thank you

Darla and Caroline for your kind comments,

Darla, I don’t know any cured meats but

speedy sausages (Helen Browning) which I buy in Sainsbury’s are gluten-free,

organic and spicy. They’re not completely free of crap though – they have sugar

and dextrose in them. they’re nice.

Thank you, , but if they are brown or any shade thereof they officially fall under the category of "foods that cause to shiver in repulsion". Until they make sausages in shades of red or green they are entirely unedible according to 's rules.

Apparently crisps are not considered to be brown. ;-)

too will eat ham (as it is pink and not brown). I found some excellent Organic Ham at Waitrose. Unfortunately it is £4 for four slices but it does not have any sugar in it and only salt and something else that doesn't bother him. He eats it every day.

Yes, thanks ! Perhaps they can make something for him. It would be great to get more protein down him.

Hi DarlaIt is worth contacting www.devonrose.com - 01297 22251. I get all Joe's bacon, sausages, etc from them and they make them to my individual requirements. Ask for to see whether they can come up with something for you. They are very helpful and accommodating (mention my name maybe they'll slip an extra pack of bacon in my next order!!)Hope this helps

I spent some time a while ago looking at cold/preserved meats. The

reason was because Ralph will not eat any meat whatsoever, BUT we found

out that he quite liked ham. A soon found out after a trip to ASDA that

Hi Darla.

I am very interested in your organic ham without sugar, how did you find

out it didn't have any sugar included ?- we don't have a Waitrose where

I live. Does it have a makers name on it?

.
