The earliest kids the did very very well on chelation with DAN! doctors - did it with the AC protocol........................

Dr McCandless and Dr Usman are two I know do AC with younger kids and they both advise mninerals druing chelation now too

I agree with Mandi, some kids can tolerate the higher infrequent dosing and some cannot. And some can tolerate the higher infrequent dosing and then all of a sudden.....they don't. Past tolerance doesn't guarantee present tolerance.

Ours lost her dx on the lower/frequent dosing protocol and no worries about redistribution.

The safest way is lower dosing of dmsa at 1/4 mg per lb of kid every 4 hours round the clock. Too bad there is no test to see which kids can get away with the higher time intervals.

On the subject of DMSA. We are currently using Thorne Captomer ordered from The Breakspear Hospital. Anyone know what the difference is between the Thorne Captomer product and Vitamin Researches DMSA - apart from the price ?

Jane,

There are loads of things that the nutricentre sell that are not on their website, but they have if you ring up. If you ring up, however, it's 50:50 whether or not you get the right thing! Good luck.
