I apologize to my fellow Chicagoland perfumers for starting the ball

rolling on our meeting and then disappearing from the Group. I have

been dealing with some serious health issues and everything else has

been put on the backburner. I am sorry. Besides, as we all know, the

Arctic weather we have been having - lots of snow and 3 major cold

blasts with wind chills of minus 30 degrees Fahrenheit - is keeping us

all indoors with minimal travel outside. Are you guys getting cabin

fever, too? (Are you Canadian members laughing at this?) We should

probably try to get together sometime this month or next. Things will

hopefully impove for me soon so I can meet you all.

Only half more winter to go! LOL!

I understand totally. I did however, stop in Whole Foods on Huron and

met . I didn't stay long since he was working. Nice guy! I

think March would be good, but if the majority wants to meet this

month, that's fine with me.

Thats ok Mark. I just met the other day and we had a nice little

conversation. It was nice to meet her and put a face to the name.

I think March would be a good time to meet as well. The weather should have

mellowed out a bit(ahk-I hear you about the frigid weather we've had and right

now it's like a big slush fest).

So what do you suggest we do when we meet?

March sounds good to me, too. Sunday, March 23 is Easter, so that day is

out, leaving us Sundays, March 2, 9, 16 or 30.

Besides getting to know each other, don't you think we should all bring

examples of our natural perfumery work and each perfumer talk a little about

what they do and make and what their goal is as a natural perfumer? And if

possible, each perfumer can bring some samples of their perfumes (in

whatever form they take) for others to take home and try out. Since we are

all at different levels of perfumery, noone should feel intimidated or shy

about being a beginner, etc. We will have the opportunity to share

materials and equipment sources, trade ideas, offer suggestions...

How does this sound to the rest of the Chicagoland perfumers? Any other

ideas of what to do at our meeting are most welcomed.

Mark (in Chicago where they are predicting a foot of snow for

tomorrow.)
