I really need help with this,... Please

Good Morning Everyone!

I have a question regarding the use of menthol crystals....another one

of those, " this is so simple that I can't seem to find the answer " . I

would like to develop a skin care product for after shaving, that has

a

nice cooling effect.

Of course immediately what comes to my mind are " menthol crystals "

which I have on hand. But I know very little, which really means....I

know next to nothing about the proper way to work with them.

What is a safe level to use? How do you use them....just add them

straight? how do you measure them ? they are so very light that it

takes alot to even measure one gram. Should I do a 10% dilution ? and

then what percent of a 10% dilution is correct....about 2% added to

the

total 100% weight of the formula ??

After a few experiments working with them straight, my instinct is

telling me that I need to dilute them to have a more accurate way to

work with them, but I'd be grateful for tidbits of " how to "

I have looked thru the archives for this answer but don't see

anything. If anyone has any experience in working with Menthol

crystals on proper usage and safety, ratios.....anything. I'd be

grateful.
