Guest guest
heather, juicing is one of the very best ways to cleanse the colon, aside from raw fruits and veges. for me it was a culture shock and a lifestyle change. juicing is not done without counsel; too much will put the body into uncomfortable detox. you can call me at 443- 540-3980 after 9 pm est. i have a ton of info for you. also you can call donna at 512/255-1646 (both of us are free)and ask her for the website. donna knows a lot more than i do so pick her brain as you are able. she is worth the phone call. peace. louise e -------------- > JMJ > > What would you recommend to be included in a restrictive food diet for colon cleansing, general detox and weight loss? There seems to be so much conflicting information on this topic, but I desperately need to figure it out. I tried limiting myself to kefir and egg drop soup with veggies the day before yesterday, and then I drank a laxitive tea at night. I didn't have homemade stock ready so I used health food store bought and after I had it all day long did I bother to read the sodium content, I embarassed to tell you how much it was. The following day I broke my diet with solid food and my digestive system consequently disowned me and decided to release whenever it felt like it, I am embarassed to tell you that too but I really need help here. I believe I have parasites, candida and an impacted colon. I also have low adrenal funtion, low blood pressure and am borderline hypoglycemic. Please give me any tidbits of information you have come across in your " research " that you think might help me. I want to use the NT way to prepare foods for my family regularly but I need get myself turned around first. > > Thank you for your time and interest, > > Adios, > > >

(http://www.iherb.com) it's a super probiotic that's also supposed to help eliminate parasites and such. some of us on this list have had great success using it for candida and other digestive issues, and it's supposed to help " clean " the colon. for weight loss, coconut oil and raw butter are often used. or instead of butter, x-factor butter oil, although it's quite expensive. these are just a few things that come to mind that may be helpful as *part* of a more comprehensive protocol. Guest guest
There is a wonderful book called Tissue Management through Bowel Cleansing, by Bernard Jensen. Type it in Google and you will find the actual book online at curezone.com. I highly recommend this type of cleanse for what you are looking for. See if you can find someone in your area who you can go to for this type of cleanse (a colon hygeinist). Guest guest
hey, heather, becky, and all-- the bk that becky recommended is also recommended by wilderness family natural (no affiliation, blah blah) in their section on colon cleansing: http://www.wildernessfamilynaturals.com/mall/colon.asp i just started the program this morning, so i can't as yet attest to its efficacy. (and i sure hope that it does *nothing* for weight loss because i can't afford to lose any!) but i can say that the green food feast/coconut oil/juice combo is absolutely tasty! i have several of the problems you described, heather, and then some ;o), so i'll let you know how this goes, if you're interested. ¡suerte! allene
Guest guest
>>>Thanks for the info! Butter for weight loss? Do tell!!! ----->i think one of the mechanisms is the CLA content in raw butter from grass-fed cows. but i think someone else recently mentioned another way in which butter might be helpful in weight loss, but i forgot what it was! MCTs, perhaps? if you go to the archives and check out the cellulite thread, i think it was mentioned there. Suze Fisher Lapdog Design, Inc. The combination of the above program with a good colon therapist may be quite useful in your circumstances.
