Hi Everyone,

I broke out Kickin' Core this morning. I really liked

it - it is more like Kick, Punch & Jam in that it is

more athletic and less dancey. I can see this one

becoming a favorite. Next time I think I'll use my

weighted gloves and I'll also get more out of it since

I'll be familiar with the moves. Today I felt a

little slow, both b/c it was a new workout for me and

b/c it was only my second workout coming back after

being sick. It is structured the same way as the

other TJs - you do three combos and then a turbo -

however, after the turbo instead of doing a

cooldown/finale/finesse you grab your stability ball

and do some kickboxing type moves with the ball (the

wheel, zig zag, and capoirera) and then move onto the

ball for crunches, push-ups, etc. Definately a

keeper. The cardio is probably about 30 minutes long

and the ball portion about 15 minutes.

I hope to do some yoga or a stretch this evening. DD

has been up at 5 a.m., I'm so glad that she'll watch a

movie while I workout. I guess I could try to switch

my workouts until the evening, so I can have peace

when I workout, but I'm afraid I won't do them if I

put them off that long. I guess for now I'll just

have company.

I'm definately looking forward to doing this TJ

workout again soon - probably next week sometime.

Tomorrow I think I'll do the other TJ ball workout -

forget the name of it.....

Take care,

Donna
