Jen, I'm a new member of the group and i know the discouragement you feel - My feeling is just hang in there and things will improve. You are a person and your weight is just a number. Remember you are making positive lifetime changes and those changes start from the inside.

Keep up the exercising and eating well and it will all come together.

Hi Kerry, I'm always looking for intermediate/advanced low impact workouts. Knee problems keep me from step and high and mixed impact workouts. A promising new workout was mentioned in the last Collage newsletter (Powetrstrike), but I'll wait for some customer response. In the meantime, I've ordered both of Kathy 's new Matrix tapes and I'll report back to the group on what I think of them. Thanks, Ricki Kerry Kramer <kerrykramer@...> wrote: Great reply Ricki, you hit the nail right on the head. Welcome to the group! What kinds of workouts do you like to do? Have you tried any kinds of supplements for your knees? I only ask because I just went through having a sore knee and didn't work out for a month then I started taking something called Nutri-flex (in Canada) which helps ease the inflammation and build more cartilage, it has really helped me. Maybe we both need a rebounder. See what you've started Donna! LOL!

I look forward to reading your reviews on the Matrix tapes.

The supplements are a good idea and i'll look for them at the pharmacy - but low impact is still the way to go for me because I have a touch of arthritis in my left knee. I have a rebounder and use it sometimes - but it gets old on a daily basis. Thanks, RickiKerry Kramer <kerrykramer@...> wrote: Have you tried any kinds of supplements for your knees? If you do get the supplements I hope they work for you. Someone else on the list recommended OsteBiFlex to me, but I couldn't find it here in Canada and got the other stuff.

Good luck,

Kerry

Hi Jen, I live in Palm Desert, Ca. After a long period of illness, I'm getting back into working out. My tapes are mostly older...the ones I am currently using most often are Donna 's Three Day Rotation, Gilad's Interval Training (I low-impact it; I didn't know it was a workout for men when I sent for it, but doing the training with weights makes me feel empowered) and an oldie by "Power Shaping II.
