I swear by Aleve (or it's generic). I've never heard it interferes

with muscle repair - but definitely check that for yourself.

The soreness gets better... really... The first two weeks I died...

Ditto that....

After a while you forget your sore..the other day I did a kick butt, leg

workout. I thought as I was sitting at work, I'm not even sore..how weird, I

should be. Then as I got up about 10 mins. later, I thought OMG, I am sore.

How'd I miss that!!

Weird I know, but you do get used to the feeling, and it does turn into a good

thing. I'm sure I had been sore all day, and I did not even notice.

You know you worked hard, yet you can still sit in a chair without looking like

a 85 year old, barely able to get up or down without holding your back and

taking 20 seconds to raise from a chair. Or better yet, when I would rather

scoot on my bum down the stairs rather then walk.

Then was then, It will get better, I promise.

Hooray for soreness! Seriously, it's a good thing. And it doesn't

last forever. Just for the first 2 weeks or so! O.o

Picture all the muscles crying out for growth and repair and your

brain going, " hmm... got a lot of work to do and no spare calories...

better dig into those fat cells for energy " !

Also, weirdly, cardio helps. Once you get moving, the lactic acid

starts to shift out of the muscles.

If it's any consolation, we've all been there! :)
