Guest guest
BEST OF LUCK MANDI!!! SARA XXX PCT - Meeting this week to discuss Sam Hi Troops Finally got past the evil 'witch with the switch' receptionist at the PCT to be told they are meeting later this week and that they meet on demand and usually every 3 weeks - so this is excellent considering the wait Jo had for review of Darryls case. The request has to go to the clinical review committee - which I found out is the Chief Exec of the PCT (worked with him during fundholding days) and a GP - my ole mate Lionel (also worked with him during fundholding). Thats all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I explained that I didn't think Dr Heard gave enough background information for them to make a decision but they said its too late to organise me giving them a presentation for this week. I also said I was concerned because if there was somebody who knew ewough about it to make a decision then I wouldn't have to go out of the area. She said they contact experts if they don't have the skills. I told her there aren't any LOL Also said I was part of a group of parents who will be making an application to N.I.C.E for a review of the evidence because there is plenty.
