I really enjoyed the thread on Lime eo....

Has anyone here been incorporating floral waxes....

I bought in a whole lot of different kinds and I am playing with them at

present.

Great for soaps apparently altho I havn't used them in that yet.... and in

solids for which I am enjoying at present. I find them adding something else to

the overall perfume depending on what you want to bring out ... a rather nice

subtlety... the rose and jasmine waxes are just lovely ... I am intrigued by the

different textures of wax depending on the plant it comes from... For example.

the jasmine grandiflorum is very waxy and bendy , the rose and tuberose hard

.... clary sage and violet leaf powdery....wild chamomile dark hard and brittle

has anyone else noticed this?

Every good wish, Janita

I have a few also........

Jasmines, champaca.....

Source is Liberty......

I've been cursed, though.....

The times I've tried to order their orange flower or frangipani have

been to no avail...

Bad timing on my part....out of stock.....

In essence....the waxes are the part that the absolute doesn't have.....

One Christmas I gave small pieces of Jasmine Grandi wax to lady friends

as a gift for their significant others.....

Rub it on.....he'll like it......

For close encounters of the intimate kind....<G>....

===============================

We have a really lovely soap with rice bran oil and jasmine wax (among other

things). It's actually a really good seller with men. The jasmine wax really

holds up great in the soap.
