Guest guest
If I remember correctly, the white goop in the Stoneyfield yogurt is cream. It is basically fat, but a good and tasty fat. I believe they make their yogurt from whole milk? This makes a huge difference. I always mixed it in the yogurt and then dined on the rich stuff. Guest guest
Hi Bobby, I have yogurt with granola every day for dinner. Tonight I made a strawberry/banana smoothie with yogurt. It was awesome. Loaded with Vitamin C. I'm hoping it will keep the flus at bay. I myself like the other brands. The fluffy didn't feel heavy enough to last the whole day. hahaha. God Bless, Jackie S. Since becoming a CMLer for almost 10 years, I use probiotics capsules, which is that good bacteria in ones stomach, that can ward off colds and flu's. I make fresh goat yogurt for my family weekly, and they not only eat this with fresh chopped fruits but add this on the side of rice dishes. If you are not lactose intolerance, you can consume good quality yogurts which has live cultures of acidophilus and bifidus which are good stomach bacteria. I think Curtis advertises one on T.V. Getting a flu shot is a personal choice. If you have Dr. Tallman's email, you can write to him and ask him his opinon. If not send me a personal email, and I will look it up for you! I am sure that someone at some point has raised this question but I am not sure. I don't normally get a flu shot. But now that I have CML I am wondering if I should. And probably the rest of my family too.(husband and kids) Do any of you get the flu shot? (I am talking about the regular flu shot not the H1N1) Just curious to see what others in this situation do. Thanks! Jen
